    You don't pay a cent until you've signed off that the job is done. If something isn't right, don't sign: call or text us from the job and we'll work it out before anyone is paid.

    Starting prices for everyday jobs. Hourly jobs are charged at your Spotter's own rate, which you see before you book. Tap any line to add it to your work order.

    What we never do: electrical, plumbing, gas or structural work. Those need a licensed trade — ask us and we'll point you to one.
    You supply the gear: equipment, tools and supplies come from you — cleaning products, a mower, a vacuum, a drill, bags, salt and so on. Tell us what you have when you book and we'll confirm what's needed.

    What's a Spotter?
    A local, independent person who does everyday jobs through 1Spot. Every Spotter has passed a background check, sets their own hourly rate, and is rated by the customers they work for.
    Can I choose who comes?
    Yes. When you book, you'll see the Spotters available for that service with their rate, rating and jobs done. Pick one, or let 1Spot match you with the best person free that day.
    What's the $10 registration fee?
    A one-time fee on a new customer's first job, included in that job's final price. It never applies again.
    Why can't I pay my Spotter directly?
    So there's never a question about who was paid, how much, or for what. Spotters don't take cash, card or e-transfer. You pay 1Spot Work by Interac e-transfer to payment@1spotwork.com after signing off, and 1Spot pays your Spotter.
    Can you do plumbing or electrical?
    No. We only arrange unskilled work. Electrical, plumbing, gas and structural jobs need a licensed professional, and we're happy to point you to one.
    What if I'm not happy with the job?
    Don't sign off. Call or text us at 647.794.5275 from the job and we'll sort it out before anyone is paid. That's the Sign-Off Promise.
    How do I reschedule or cancel?
    Contact us as early as you can at info@1spotwork.com or 647.794.5275. Rescheduling details are confirmed when your job is booked.
    Is my job posted publicly?
    Open jobs can appear on our jobs board so Spotters can put their hand up, showing only the type of work, neighbourhood, date and hours. Your name, contact details, address and description go only to the Spotter booked for your job.
